It's this time of year that most mango lovers will wait, and yes, so do I.
I'm sure most of us do. Well, before we say goodbye to the fruit king, let's rejoice in the mangoes season now and wait until next year for another fruitful season. Homemade Mango Mousse is the easiest dessert recipe you will ever find.
It summers in the Middle Eastern countries and mangoes are in the season now, and can't be more tropical than that! Though summers are pretty hot, we still find our ways to enjoy it. So I decided to treat my family with a delicious creamy mango mousse topped with whipped cream and golden pearls. Imagine yourself eating chilled mango mousse this summer with your loved ones, I know it's made you drool, isn't it?😚
It's such an easy dessert you can make at home with minimal ingredients available in your pantry. And yes! I have to say there is no extra sugar added since the mangoes were sweet and adding a bit of condensed milk made it perfectly delicious.
MANGO MOUSSE RECIPE
Ingredients:
2 fresh Ripe Mangoes
1/2 cup condensed milk
Heavy cream
Garnish
Whipping Cream
Golden pearls (optional)
Prep Time: 20 Mins
Chill Time: 2hrs
PREPARATION
Peel and dice the mangoes into chunks.
Puree the diced mango in a blender. Until a smooth paste, it will just take a minute or two.
Next start whisking the heavy cream, whisk for about 8-10 mins until peaks are formed.
keep aside a portion of whipping cream later for the garnish.
Now add the Condensed milk and whisk it for some more time until it's well combined and stays firm without losing the shape.
Add the mango puree and fold in the mixture into the whipped cream. Once they have combined well it's ready.
pour the mixture into the serving dish and let it chill.
Garnish the mango mousse with extra whipped cream and some golden pearls.
Serve chill and enjoy it!
Note: Use fully riped mangoes. If you use unripened mangoes there will be chances of adding extra sugar to increase the sweetness.
* Use heavy cream or full-fat whipping cream
* Chill the cream before whipping it for a perfect whip.
* Freeze the mousse for 2hrs.
